Learn Karanas of Natyashastra - Online and On-ground
Karanas are 108 ancient movement sequences rooted in Nātyashāstra. They connect coordinated leg, arm and body movements to our very essence of being, our spirit.
Students will not only learn Karanas and their subdivisions, but more over they get to dive into the ancient Margi technique of Nātyashāstra in order to understand the wholeness and depth of movement as such.
The course can be attended online and on-ground and will start from October 2025.

Workshop on Desi Marga Adavu with Nirupama Rajendra
The workshop offers an introduction to the big spectrum of the well researched 108 newly crafted movements called Deshi Marga Adavu which brings together the fundamental units of Bharathanatyam (Deshi Adavu) with elements from Natyashastra (Mārga). Deshi Marga Adavus are both of aesthetic and functional value and helps in enhanced expressions, grace and adds beauty to the skills of the dancers and above all it aids in stretching the imagination for Story-telling through dance.
VASANTHA is a unique choreography integrating Deshi Marga Adavu and elements of Natyashastra to tell the story of Vasantha, the spring season. Here, the gentle breeze, blowing from the south, softens the chilly air of the winter.
